11. The dusty case: stratospheric dust transport The dust is transported to the stratosphere by spontanious vertical mixing after 2nd day (Fig.8, Fig.10). The vertical mixing is driven by vertical contrast of solar radiative heating (Fig.9) associated with the steep gradient of dust distribution (Fig.10).
