        - Human-powered apparatus
- In experiment no. 1, we used a stepping motor to
raise and lower the round stick. In experiments 2 and
3, modifying the movement apparatus was too much
trouble, so we used manpower instead. We kept time by
matching the movement with "Bip, Bip"
noises made by the timer, and it actually worked out
            better than we thought.
- Sugar water is no good?
- The refractive index of sugar water is higher than
that of salt, and more sugar will dissolve in the
same amount of water, making it possible to obtain a
higher specific gravity. These sounds good for this
experiment, but it has a fault. The sugar solution
has heigh viscosity. It won't flow in a hose like
pure water meaning that it takes a long long time to
fill up the tank. Only one who dit it knows.
