Pendulum Weight: A plumb used for surveying. Length: 90cm The pendulum was hung above the center of a rotating table. Photography A video camera on the rotating table and a stationary video camera were used to film the experiment.   Experimental process The pendulum was swung in a straight line from the point of view of the stationary system. In order to make the relationship between the pendulum and the movement of the rotating table easier to understand, a stuffed toy cat was placed in the middle of the table and a point of light from a stationary laser outside the rotating system was cast on the rotating table.
