* DPBCON estimates the reciprocal of the condition number (in the
* 1-norm) of a real symmetric positive definite band matrix using the
* Cholesky factorization A = U**T*U or A = L*L**T computed by DPBTRF.

* An estimate is obtained for norm(inv(A)), and the reciprocal of the
* condition number is computed as RCOND = 1 / (ANORM * norm(inv(A))).

* DPBEQU computes row and column scalings intended to equilibrate a
* symmetric positive definite band matrix A and reduce its condition
* number (with respect to the two-norm). S contains the scale factors,
* S(i) = 1/sqrt(A(i,i)), chosen so that the scaled matrix B with
* elements B(i,j) = S(i)*A(i,j)*S(j) has ones on the diagonal. This
* choice of S puts the condition number of B within a factor N of the
* smallest possible condition number over all possible diagonal
* scalings.

* DPBSVX uses the Cholesky factorization A = U**T*U or A = L*L**T to
* compute the solution to a real system of linear equations

* provided.

SUBROUTINE DPBTF2( UPLO, N, KD, AB, LDAB, INFO )
* Purpose
* =======
*
* DPBTF2 computes the Cholesky factorization of a real symmetric
* positive definite band matrix A.
*
* The factorization has the form
* A = U' * U , if UPLO = 'U', or
* A = L * L', if UPLO = 'L',
* where U is an upper triangular matrix, U' is the transpose of U, and
* L is lower triangular.
*
* This is the unblocked version of the algorithm, calling Level 2 BLAS.
*
* Arguments
* =========
*
* UPLO (input) CHARACTER*1
* Specifies whether the upper or lower triangular part of the
* symmetric matrix A is stored:
* = 'U': Upper triangular
* = 'L': Lower triangular
*
* N (input) INTEGER
* The order of the matrix A. N >= 0.
*
* KD (input) INTEGER
* The number of super-diagonals of the matrix A if UPLO = 'U',
* or the number of sub-diagonals if UPLO = 'L'. KD >= 0.
*
* AB (input/output) DOUBLE PRECISION array, dimension (LDAB,N)
* On entry, the upper or lower triangle of the symmetric band
* matrix A, stored in the first KD+1 rows of the array. The
* j-th column of A is stored in the j-th column of the array AB
* as follows:
* if UPLO = 'U', AB(kd+1+i-j,j) = A(i,j) for max(1,j-kd)<=i<=j;
* if UPLO = 'L', AB(1+i-j,j) = A(i,j) for j<=i<=min(n,j+kd).

* On exit, if INFO = 0, the triangular factor U or L from the
* Cholesky factorization A = U'*U or A = L*L' of the band

* The leading dimension of the array AB. LDAB >= KD+1.

* = 0: successful exit
